Alert K-9 Clients
We are proud of what we do and would like to share these testimonials from our clients:
Birgit,

Jager (Arko) is amazing! He is smart, brave, and well tempered. He is growing so fast. He's already over 50 lbs; he's going to be a big boy. He has boundless energy, and he has been playing with our next door neighbors' pit bull. They are great together and love to rough house. He was 90% potty trained within a week, and to date has never pooped in the house. The only minor issue we've had was when he decided that we needed to put a new floor in the kitchen and helped us by pulling up the linoleum. Fortunately, Kimberly agreed with him so he didn't get into too much trouble. I just can't say enough about him. He is such a blessing. Maybe Kimberly can email you some pictures if she gets time.

B,
Elke is doing fine. She's getting really big! She's grown out of her 17" Fur Saver already. I hope we can get together soon one Saturday. We'd love to bring Elke for a visit. Elke's work is coming along well. She is doing light bite work with a helper and a tug---no bite bar or sleeve yet. She does pretty well with Sitz, Platz, Fuß usw. around the house. At the SchH club though, we have not started any obedience. They say that bite work and building confidence come first, obedience later. No jump work or retrieving yet either. I have done some work with scent pads with her but have not made the time to progress with tracking yet---my fault. I leave for work so early and it gets dark early too. Let us know when you folks will be around one Saturday and we'll make a trip out! Bis dahin,M.

Alert K9,

Thank you for a wonderful dog. He is so powerful & quite a leaper, yet is so gentle. His balance is excellent. Every since I got him he would naturally go up into a beg position with no assistance. With Niki, I had to help & guide some dominance over her, like taking & hogging the new toy pack etiquette. Niki though is still the lead dog on the trails and pack etiquette. Niki though is still the lead dog on the trails and such. Niki is still the bigger, stronger, and faster one, but Thor is catching up quickly and within a few months I suspect he will be catching up quickly and within a few months I suspect he will be larger than her. I'm still waiting for him to fill into those ears and paws!!!! He is a super GSD!!! I can't say that enough. Anyway, I Wishing you and your family a Happy New Years, Steve

Birgit,

She is great and is everything I wanted - and more. She has exceeded all of our expectations. I have joined the Charleston Working Dog Club and am going to be working with Jenny at Blitzstrahl Sheppards . We had out first meeting last weekend and they liked Agie very much. I am starting her on tracking. Wish us luck and I will keep you posted.

Have a wonderful Christmas,

Nancy

Just thought I would send you a couple pics of Ilba Vom Haus Hall. Well we just call her Justice... She has been a ton of fun. She took on a 4 yr. old show line her first week and well it was funny. He has basically become her mentor. She has tons of drive and gets great reviews for her work on the puppy sleeve. She is going to get her ears "taped" tommorow I think. Her one ear keeps going up and down and she is so gorgeous I want her perfect. She knows some commands and well in a couple months she should start her official police training. I have attached a pic and no one believes she is just five months old.
I will email you tommorow with her weight, but I thought I would show you how perfect she has become. She gets rave reviews from police k-9 handlers everywhere.

Dear Birgit,
Best wishes for a great thanksgiving tomorrow. just a delight in every way. We love her so much. She is very well adjusted, loves other dogs and people, and everyone falls in love with her.
We constantly get comments on what a beautiful animal she is and how well behaved. She is our pride and joy.
We are just about to leave for Australia but will stay in touch and let you know how things go.

All the best to you,

Celeste & Steve Gventer

Dear Brigit,
I had you on my mind as I am loving on our Willa (from your 1st beautiful, super smart and now, and the instructor is enamored by her attention, retention and willingness to please. All that being true, she is also apt to exercise her alpha confidence, and we have to be completely present with her to remind her of her status in the pecking order. It's like adding another teenager! We have had two
different police detectives approach us in seperate settings to ask if we would consider selling her. Willa commands attention wherever she goes!
I don't have any recent pics that really show her lovely markings and lines. Some day soon I will think to get a few
pics of her in motion. Here are a few candids from earlier... Willa with our tree on her first Christmas...

Hello Birgit,

I hope everyone is doing well. Everything is great down here,Ingo "Chevy" is doing great!!! He is becoming everything you said he would be,his prey drive is out the roof and his protective instincts starting showing up at 4 months. He is a very very smart dog and i love him very much. I just can't say enough about him,I'm sending you some pic's they are not the best but I think it will give an idea of how he's doing.

Happy Holiday's & thanks again

Birgit,

hope all is well. Thor is doing great and getting so big & strong like his dad. Niki just turned 1yo and he's caught up to her. Thor loves his Jolly Ball. His balance is so amazing just like his mother. Him & Niki are super buddies, a great team. I see you have a new litter with Hessel & I like the looks of the dam as well. If I could have another pup I sure would like one. Perhaps some day in the future when I have more property.
Best Wishes, Steve

Hello Mr. and Mrs. Hall,
Thank you for the perfect puppy. He is a great addition to our family. He is very independent, bold and curious. He loves children and gets along with other animals, but his dominating personality causes him to always challenge his playmates. He is coming of age more and more each day, and I am seeing his personality shift along with it. When he first arrived, he had a bad habit of biting which, after working on it has ceased quite a bit. He is growing rapidly, I weighed him a few days ago and he ended up being around 50lbs. He is always full of energy and loves to run and exercise, which creates a challenge for me to try and tire him out each day. He has asurprisingly strong bite; he is the first dog I have ever had that has torn a tennis ball in half, with his puppy teeth. He is truly a wonderful dog, from his personality to the way he looks. While walking him, people pull over to side of the road just to admire and compliment him. Currently, I am working with him on lead training. When he was smaller I used to take him to a park with not very much pedestrian
traffic and let him off the lead to run with me, and he did good staying close by. When I took my nephew with me, and let Chase off the leash, he fascinated me by never letting either one of us lag too far behind. While either my nephew ran and I walked behind or vice-versa, Chase would always stop and wait making sure the person in the back didn't get left behind and the person in the front didn't get too far ahead. I thank you very much for such an amazing dog. I was sorry that things didn't work out with Kane, but after experiencing Chase, I'm glad it didn't. I've had quite a few people ask me where I got the dog from, most become disappointed when I let them know it's not local. But a few have asked me for more information, so I just directed them to your website confident that everything else would speak for itself. I'm attaching some pictures I have taken of Chase since he's been here. I'm still curious to see how Kane turned out, can you send me some recent pictures of him if you have them available?

Thank you again,

Rashod

Birgit,
Greetings, wow what a weekend! Just got back from the regionals yesterday and Diesel (Ivo Vom Haus Hall) and I had a blast! Cant wait till he is old enough to get out on the field and compete he is gonna be a rockstar! Saw Jenniferand her husband there and she took pictures of him for you which I see are already on the page. I just can't thank you enough for him, he is truely a gift. He has become my best friend, and my fearless protector. At the hotel sunday night, we were in the room and he was lying in the floor chewing on his bone and I noticed he kept lifting his head and growling everytime a person walked by my window, then I realized that this person was just walking back and forth in front of my window trying to look in around the curtain. When this man stopped right next to my door and I guess was looking in or trying to decide to get the door open Diesel lit up on him, heckles up teeth bared, I havenever seen him act that way before I thought he was going to break thru that window just to get to the man. The man had ran away before I got to the door, and wisely so. And even though he is protective he is also very friendly and social, its almost like he knows what people are thinking. Everywhere I go people compliment him, so much so that I have had several offers to buy him, but I always politely decline, I could never sell him he is my family now. Thank You so much again for the work you do.
Best Wishes,
Crystal

Hey Guys,

Hope you all are doing well there. I just wanted to let you know, again, how much we love our puppy,Willa. She just had her first birthday, and we're amazed to compare photos now with that first puppy shot in her tiny orange "collar." But, the real thing I wanted to tell you is how amazingly protective she is of her family.

Willa has never shown signs of trepidation when it comes to being alert or aggressive with what she perceives as threats. She does not understand dogs in sweaters, is very sensitive to the "energy" of people and is the MOST alert, protective dog I've ever known.
Yesterday, however, was over the top. Madison and Willa had been out for a walk in the neighborhood about 2pm, and Madi noticed an unfamiliar car with an adult male following behind her. She walked with Willa straight home, and the car passed by, then turned to come back and park across the street. By that time, Madison was in the side yard playing ball with Willa (who was still on a long training line). The unidentified male got out of his car and started to approach Madison -- it must have looked to him that Madi and Willa were home alone with the front door open. Willa sized him up as soon as he closed the car door, assumed the definitive stance and gave him a low growl of warning, and Madi asked the stranger if he needed anything. He stopped his approach when Willa took a defensive posture and bared her teeth. Madi said it was clear she was giving him the warning to back off. The guy tried to talk to the dog using baby talk --- thankfully that nonsense is useless on a German shepherd like Willa! Failing that, he stopped trying to elicite a wagging tail, ignored
Willa, and started to try to initiate conversation with Madison about whether she lived here, what she was doing home alone in the middle of the day, etc. Willa kept her gaze on him, her growls got louder and more intense, and Madi said it was as if Willa knew what he was up to! By that time, Madison was really creeped out by the guy and felt she was in danger. The stranger told Madi he just wanted to ask her something, started to approach ...And, Willa flipped out! I mean completely off the scale flipped out, charging, full scale and
Madi told him "You better back up. Right now." He did. By that time Matthew heard Willa and flung open the window from his upstairs room to see what on earth was going on. The stranger, seeing both Willa and Madison's brother appear), went straight back to his car and fled. Willa was on high alert for the rest of the afternoon and night -- checking windows and doors at any sound.

I can't tell you all how thankful I am -- how thankful we are. Even Matt said to me, in his 18 year old eloquent way, "Mom, Willa really saved Madison today. She flipped out on that guy. That guy was up to no good, but Willa was ready to fight off the stranger." Matt was loving on Willa, telling her what a good job she did. We all, individually, thanked her in our own ways. You know that's why we named her Willa. I was looking for a German name and came across Willa -- meaning loving, devoted protector. WE ALL feel like Willa absolutely
helped avert some potential life threat to Madison. We love her beyond words and look forward to a lifetime of loving and living with her loving, devoted protection.

Birgit,
Wanted to drop you a quick line and a new picture of Justice. She turned 10 months old the 15th and she is about 75 pounds. Well In March we had a big scare. My girlfriend (and one of my trainers) had Justice at Schutzhund training where we work on her bite work. While she brought out her big male someone had gained entry into her vehicle and tried to steal my girl. Keep in mind until we give her a command she is the most loveable dog. We did a police report with Willowbrook P.D. (CR# 10-4481). We spent about three hourslooking for her and I told my girlfriend go home and I will keep looking. Well when shegot home guess who was waiting on the porch!!!! She had a different collar on it was a prong collar not even put on right. She tracked back to Jen's house which was 9.22 miles!Needless to say she was quite winded and got spoiled for the next couple days and a bath! I think that you do not really know what you have until it's almost gone.

I think that this incident trully shows the class of dogs you breed. I was looking into purchasing a pup from your Voodoo and Puci Jipo Me litter. What is the reservation payment and do you still give a police discount?

Justice is doing very well in her tracking and protection work. I am burning one dvd with some of her footage on it. Your more than welcome when you get it to place it on your website. I plan on driving out for this pup!

Birgit,
We get so many compliments on his color & temperament! We went to the vet old and weighs 20.6lbs! He doubled in 3 weeks!! Its amazing! He is so great though is potty trained and were working on the nibbling! (He likes to run and chase Emily)!

Just wanted to show you some photos of him! We'll keep you updated on how he is doing! As we were at the Vet a Harnett County Deputy had his German Sheppard there.. and he was in awe of his color! He said he is going to make for a great dog! (We were VERY excited to give him your information!) Hope everything is well!

Alert K9,

Feel free to use the pictures on your site. Igor is the smartest, most rock solid GSD I've ever owned. He is absolutely fearless and like I said before his drive is off the charts. I'm just starting him out in schutzhund this Sunday but I'll definitely keep you posted on his progress. I think he has the potential to be a very special dog. I went to the Ontario Regional Schutzhund trials last weekend, mentionned your site to a few people and the Anrebri kennel connection and they said Igor would be a natural for the sport. The only thing limiting him would be me as a trainer. Honestly, he is more of a physical specimen than what I saw at the trials last weekend. He is more stocky in build than tall but he still has a year to grow.
Take care,
Mike

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Birgit,

Weiss...hmmm. What can I say about him. I will let you know that evryone that meets him says that he is not a puppy but a minitaure shepherd. He commands respect from full sized dogs everywhere and trully has no fear. The same day puci worked a breeder brought a four month old shepherd in to be evaluated. The puppy was very frightened at its own shadow. The handler told it was still to young to get evaluated but pointed out weiss who was pulling the handler's gear out and said thats what you look for, the drive. Weiss has had a total of two accidents in the house and a burst of three barks is his signal for the bathroom, I kid you not! You should see people that have seen Justice and Weiss walk together, first words are who is your breeder. I actually just had street gang training with Hunter Glass, a retired Fayetville, NC officer. He is partner in a security firm that has a K9 section. He was very impressed with both dogs and
I told him to give you a call when he needed dogs.

Plus, I need to thank you for something Puci did for me. I live in one of the best parts of the city, in fact its were Mayor Daley grew up. I observed a subject wearing a full carnhart jacket with his hood up when it was 75 degrees out. I think Puci and I both recognized something wasn't right. As I walked I slowly reached under my shirt to keep a hand on my weapon because this guy was approaching me in an aggressive manner with his hands in his pockets and hood up (he was even wearing a knit cap), when he took a step towards me before I even could blink Puci swung around my side and grabbed the guy by his jacket. I told puci to lay and she did but growled at the guy. Then when I asked the guy if he wanted to call the police he said no apologized and fled. I have no doubt in my mind that he had a weapon and was either going to attack me or rob me. I dont think he expected her to come to life like that, neither did I lol. But Puci
saved me from defending myself and possibily taking that guys life if he did have a weapon. I can only say thank you.....

Here are pics of the dogs and Weiss weighed 25lbs at 11 weeks and probably is over 30 by now. Once we get him all his titles we will let you know so you can have him breed with one of your great girls. Weiss is growing taller instead of wider lol he is almost half as tall as Justice. He likes to sleep in bed to as you can tell by the pic. Jen said I had to send it to you because we both were napping.

Jason

Hi Birgit--
Taz is 11 months old today. He is a great dog--exceptional temperament, social and affectionate, lots of personality, very nice drives. Our vet is very impressed with him. We did hip prelims last month--no problems that we can see at his present age and he moves beautifully. He weighed 74 lbs-- you can see all his ribs when he moves, but he isn't too thin. He is a big boy, but we want to keep him light while he is growing. Here are a couple of pictures that I took today. As you know the colors don't ever show as vividly in a picture, but you can get an idea. He is black with gorgeous, deep red undertones. His head is massive--a very handsome boy!

By the way, we placed Hitti in January with a wonderful family. She is spoiled rotten and living the life of a queen!! Have a blessed Easter. Tami

Hello,

Thank you so much for allowing us to see your dogs and facility. We have visited 7 breeders in NC and SC and I must admit that your facility was the nicest and cleanest I have ever seen. Most breeders kept their dogs on dirt and the dogs looked bad even though the dogs looked good on their website. Your dogs on the other hand were even more beautiful when I saw them in person. I would give you an A+ on your dogs and your facility.
