We are located in the beautiful state of North Carolina. I was born and raised in Germany. I grew up with German Shepherds and training these fine dogs in Germany. My husband Jon was born and raised in North Carolina and served the US Navy for 11 years. In our spare time we visit retirement homes and churches to sing southern gospel music. I was very disappointed when I first came to the US from Germany about the way people destroy the German Shepherd Dog with their breeding techniques. Many people are not aware that you can't just take 2 German Shepherds and breed them. You will have health and temperament problems. Don't be mislead just because the dogs are registered or the breeder has a website. I have met many good but also more bad breeders that have no clue about the German Shepherd breed and they should leave it to the professionals. It takes a lot of research and planning. Not every German Shepherd dog is breed worthy. Besides temperament, the German Shepherd dog has to have certified hips and show it's working ability through Schutzhund, Police K-9, S&R, etc. A well Bred German Shepherd is priceless That encouraged me to import and breed quality German Shepherd Dogs, the type I have grown up with in Germany All of our dogs are trained daily in tracking, obedience, protection and narcotics detection. They are also our family companions and interact daily with children. We have no preference between Working Lines and Conformation (Show) Lines. We do believe though that a good German Shepherd should be able to work regardless of type yet be an excellent family companion. With over 20 years of experience in raising and training top quality German Shepherd Dogs we have produced some of the finest Police K-9's, Schutzhund dogs, Personal Protection Dogs and Family Companions. |
| First I would like to say to all German Shepherd breeders. Don't breed German Shepherd dogs just to multiply them. Breed German Shepherds responsibly with a goal to improve the German Shepherd breed. You should not breed German Shepherds unless you have a goal and never breed German Shepherds for commercial purposes. Breeding German Shepherds is very time consuming and a financially consuming hobby. Besides all the necessary regulations and love for the German Shepherd breed, most of all knowledge and goals are necessary to be considered a good German Shepherd breeder. |
